BLET Sponsorship

Prior to enrollment in a North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement program, you must first gain employment or sponsorship from a Law Enforcement Agency.

Gaining sponsorship is a two part process. The first step is a complete a background investigation. The second step is an interview with the Chief of Police or a designated investigator.

It is the policy of the China Grove Police Department to sponsor only residents of the Town and applicants who are interested in pursuing a position with our department.

Please note that sponsorship should in no way be considered as an offer of employment.
